Devita Saraf (born June 25, 1981) is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder, chairman, and CEO of Vu Televisions, a leading luxury television brand.

Early Life and Education:

Born in Mumbai, India, Devita is the daughter of Rajkumar Saraf, chairman of Zenith Computers. She attended Queen Mary School in Mumbai, H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, and later earned a BA in business administration from the University of Southern California. She also studied at the University of California, Berkeley, and the London School of Economics, and is pursuing an OPM program at Harvard Business School.

Career:

Devita began her career at 16 under her father’s guidance at Zenith Computers, where she became director of marketing at 21 and CEO in 2006. At 24, she founded Vu Technologies, focusing on high-end LED TVs. Under her leadership, Vu has become a significant player in the luxury television market.

Achievements:

Devita has held prominent positions in business organizations, including the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She is also a member of Mensa and has contributed as a columnist for The Wall Street Journal.

Controversies:

Vu Technologies faced legal challenges when the Bombay High Court sealed its Andheri office for discrepancies in employee numbers. Additionally, her family was implicated in financial controversies involving Zenith Infotech.
