Early Life and Education

Born on April 17, 1972, in Houston, Texas, Jennifer Garner was the middle daughter of a chemical engineer and an English teacher. Raised in Charleston, West Virginia, she developed a love for the stage early on, studying ballet for nine years. Initially set to follow in her father’s footsteps, she enrolled as a chemistry student at Denison University.
